Research & Sample Strategy @ Morning Consult
I recently graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna cum Laude from Columbia University, where I studied international relations and statistics and covered the 2024 pro-Palestine protests as a photo and video journalist. My professional experience spans journalism, free speech advocacy, and data analytics—having worked at NBC News and PEN America, among other organizations. In July, I'll start as an associate at Morning Consult, working on its research and sample strategy team.
Academically, I am interested in nuclear non-use, public opinion research, and epistemology in the social sciences more broadly. For my senior thesis, I conducted an online survey experiment evaluating the Indian public's attitudes toward nuclear weapons use. I was awarded the Charles A. Beard Prize for the project, given to the student who writes the best paper in Columbia's political science department.
One of my hobbies is reading, and I'm always on the hunt for new recommendations. I'm not sure how to describe my book taste, but my favorite authors are Kazuo Ishiguro, Herman Melville, and Virginia Woolf. Right now, I'm into reading history and political theory, with a focus on liberalism, utilitarianism, and their critics (plus nuclear weapons). Please feel free to reach out if you know what I should read next!
